Shimano SM-RT70 is a high-quality brake disc from the SLX 7000 group. Thanks to its 3-layer Ice-Tech design, it provides excellent heat dissipation and high braking power in all conditions. Compatible with hubs equipped with Centerlock spline.

The 140 and 160 millimeter discs are compatible with road, gravel and MTB bikes, the larger sizes – only with MTB bikes. The choice of disc size depends on the hub standard, brake caliper adapter and frame and fork design.

Through the use of plating, Shimano has developed an innovative brake disc design that effectively dissipates heat, reducing disc temperatures by 50°C. This has the effect of increasing lining life and braking power. The design includes aluminum ribs and a stainless steel part.
