Huge papier-m\u00e2ch\u00e9 sculptures are erected in the city and spectacularly set on fire on the last night of the festival. This is accompanied by fireworks displays, parades and traditional dances.  <\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"sc_icons_item\"><span class=\"sc_icons_item_number\">02<\/span>                <div class=\"sc_icons_item_header\"><h4 class=\"sc_icons_item_title\"><span>Moros y Cristianos (Moors and Christians) - Alcoy, Villajoyosa, Denia, Pego (April-October)<\/span><\/h4><\/div><div class=\"sc_icons_item_details\"><div class=\"sc_icons_item_description\"><span>Spectacular reenactments of historic battles between Moors and Christians that took place in the Middle Ages.
